This brand new white wooden house was built following a late 1800s style. Located in Brastad, in Sweden, May-Louise and Magnus Kruse purchased the property in 2000 but they had the 1892 house demolished and started form scratch. The ground floor is an open plan large room with a ceiling height of up to 7.5 metres. Upstairs is the house's only bedroom and a living room. The interior is quite eclectic: a mix of rustic, modern, and antique styles.
House tour time, lovelies!

I would say my porch is something like #18 in the sense that you don't have to go down some steps to get to the garden, it's right on it. Does your porch resemble one of these?

Post # 500! And a Summer House in Costa del Sol
Dear readers, this is my post number 500. And guess what we are going to do to celebrate? You guessed! House tour, Yayy!!
So, off we go to Costa del Sol, in Spain, to tour interior designer Vanda Jewiss's summer house. With stunning views of both the sea and mountains she restored it together with architect Eduardo Dorissa.
I think I love every single thing about this house. The Gustavian furniture, the beams, the rustic floor... and I especially love the dining room. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Have a happy weekend my friends!

Coastal House in Spain
Two brothers inherited a large two story house on the coast of Spain. It had been their childhood home and now that each had their own family, instead of selling it, they decided to split it vertically down the middle and make two homes, one for each family.
Huge windows provide lots of light in the eclectic sitting room. Sea-grass rug.
On the other side of the living room a limestone fireplace with a polished wood mantel adds warmth. I like the little guy resting on a block of wood on the wall.
Instead of the usual console table, a distressed vintage post office filing unit.
Different style Thonet chairs in the dining room.
Black and white diamond and octagon tiles for the kitchen floor.
Soft palette in the master bedroom.
Lots of storage space under these custom made beds. Norman Rockwell prints on the wall. Nice number of pillows for a great pillow fight!
