This wall has always been a challenge for me because of it's size... 17 feet wide and 12 feet tall at it's tallest point.
The shelving unit that we are 'baby sitting' for our daughter while she is away volunteering for the Peace Corp in Ecuador, has helped fill in the space.
All the photos have a black or champagne gold frame with a natural linen mat and the photos are either black & white or sepia.
This color scheme seems to work regardless of the season, and goes well with the matching black leather club chairs and ottomans.
This space flows into the breakfast bar, breakfast nook, and the glass doors leading to the back patio.
Yep, your right! In the far right hand of this photo is Miss Tessa snoozing on her dog bed with a tasty dog bone close at hand.
I really didn't have a 'formula' for the spacing of the pictures or anything remotely technical about this, it's just evolved over time and seems to work on such a large space.
I hope you all are having a great start to your week, and despite the summer heat are able to appreciate the beauty and joy of summer.
