A brand new week starts and off we go to Spain to visit this restored apartment, decorated by Ana Ros. A lovely combination of traditional and contemporary styles with a soothing palette in every room.
And here you have a second post for today. Hope this makes you happy, well, if only just a wee bit. This Guest House called Can Bassa, part of a fourteenth century farmhouse, is located in the old town of Madremanya in Girona, Spain. Originally, it had neither a bath nor kitchen, just some rooms on three floors, where - the owners believe- day laborers who worked in the fields could have slept. To enjoy the views and feel the presence of the Les Gavarres mountains, the owners decided to place the living room on the second floor of the house.
Good morning, nice to see you again. Ready for another tour? Spanish interior designer Adriana Barnils took care of these interiors. A soft palette and pleasant symmetry for this spacious home. Let's take a look.
Today I just feel like plopping into this pool and float for a while. Then I'd make a point of leaving my wet footsteps on the kitchen floor. Finally, I'd take a nap on that cool bed. Am a bit tired, you guessed.
BTW it's in Formentera, Spain. All images from here.
