So, here's the post I promised earlier today. And the gorgeous bathroom we saw in my previous post was expertly photographed by James Mcdonald.

I have chosen a few more photographs from his portfolio for you to see. James is a British, London-based freelance photographer who focuses on interiors, portraiture, travel and still life photography.

Good morning, dears! Ahh, I had some fun yesterday with your reactions to my post on Iris Apfel's home. I think I should choose to post homes like this one more often, the nice ones don't get as much attention and comments (in my inbox rather than on my blog). Cluttered, eyesore, over the top, plain awful, and even nightmare, were some of the adjectives I received.

Ah well, today I'd like to introduce you to Marc Wouters, an outstanding photographer from Belgium which I discovered through Greet from Belgian Pearls. Interiors, people, still life, and floral are some of the themes he covers. Good Monday morning, dear readers, hope you all had a great weekend!

When I saw an e-mail in my inbox sent by James Salomon I knew I was about to see something special. And I wasn't wrong. The photographs of his latest work are lovely.

I featured some of Jamie's work in yesterday's post and last year here.

So, this is the latest project captured by Jamie's lens. It took two years for Barnes Vance Architects from Georgetown, DC to transform it from an inn into a single family house. It is located in Bar Harbor, in a small town known as Down East Maine. The owner decorated the interiors with the help of the architect.
