Located in Devon, this mid Victorian barn was transformed by owners Christina and Nigel Dickinson into a French style farmhouse with a budget of £8,000.

Restored Victorian Mill

Linda Cobbett transformed an old mill and stables into a family home. For it she was awarded Best Period Renovation 2010 by Period Living Magazine. There is a very interesting article here on the story of the restoration of this old Victorian Mill.

Restored Farmhouse in Spain

Some of the old farmhouses of the historic region of Ampurdán, Girona, in Spain, have been rescued from oblivion by its current owners, lovers of the area. It is the case of this fourteenth century building, located in the center of Old Madremanya, which was completely restored respecting its original materials. A real beauty. Restoring Antique Building Materials

Today I'd like to show you the work of Rik Storms. At the beginning of his career he was dedicated to the restoration of antique buildings and castles. Now, he restores authentic antique building materials with particular care and attention. He constantly searches for the most beautiful old materials, which he integrates in classic and timeless interiors.
